James Shinra is a London-based electronic music producer who creates “acid laced braindance, resonating electro and addictive melodies. Lush and seamless production, as good in the sun as it is the depth of night.” With releases on Feel My Bicep, Balkan Vinyl, and WIDE, his most notable EPs include November 2015 release “Ball & Chain” on London’s Null-Void; his March 2017 self-released “Orbit”; and “Meteor” on Spain’s Analogical Force released May 2017. He also contributed to the Spanish label’s “Voiceless” series alongside Kettel, Dwaallicht, EOD, and the late great Microlith.

On a personal level, Shinra is my favorite producer of 2017 and it is an honor and a privilege to to feature him on Neptunian Influence. He is a master of his very unique sound and I’ve never really heard anything else quite like it. Prepare to lose yourself in a dream and if fate should have it, we’ll find each other for a dance in the Great Dark Spot.
